200cm weathering steel raised garden bed with natural rust finish, open bottom & interior brackets. Perfect for veggies, herbs & flowers. Shop at EXTG with Afterpay or Zip Pay. Australia's best price.
If you're after a planter that looks seriously good in the garden without demanding a lot of upkeep, this weathering steel raised bed is worth a look. It's that classic rusty-brown industrial style that works beautifully against greenery — and the best part is, that finish isn't paint. The steel naturally develops its own protective rust layer when exposed to the elements, which actually shields it from corrosion underneath. No painting, no sealing, just let it do its thing.
At 200cm wide, there's heaps of room to grow whatever you like — veggies, herbs, flowers, natives — you name it. Interior support brackets keep the whole structure solid and sturdy even when it's packed full of soil, and the open bottom means water drains freely and roots can push down as deep as they need to. One thing worth knowing: it arrives in its original metal colour, not yet rusted. You can speed the weathering process along with a spray of salty or soapy water, just keep it away from your clothes while it's developing that layer.
It's a great value addition to any outdoor space, whether that's a backyard garden bed, a courtyard, or a long balcony. You'll find it over at EXTG alongside plenty of other outdoor and garden finds — and if you'd rather spread the cost, you can grab it on Afterpay too.
